01/31/11 Raw preview- Miz still WWE Champion, Elimination Chamber three weeks away

Miz retained his title at the Rumble with help from Nexus, tonights Raw will likely play a role in the fate of the WWE title heading into Wrestlemania

Last nights Royal Rumble provided possible new directions for WWE’s top stars. Randy Orton failed to capture the WWE title from Miz after CM Punk and Nexus interfered in his match. John Cena was thrown out of the rumble by WWE Champion the Miz and lost his shot at the title. With Elinination Chamber only three weeks away WWE will probably start the build to the PPV on tonights Raw. I would expect the PPV to be headlined by Punk, Orton, Cena, Miz, Morrison and Sheamus with the victor becoming the new champion.

Also coming out of the rumble was the return of Kevin Nash as Diesel and Booker T. The two men where said to have the biggest reactions of the night when they returned so they may be featured in storylines tonight. Rumors have had Booker getting another decent sized push as this may be his last run in the company and Nash may also receive a last run type push.

01/24/11 Raw preview- Champions collide days before Royal Rumble

The final Raw before Royal Rumble features a match between Raw and Smackdown Champions- The Miz and Edge

Tonights Raw is an important one as its the last Raw before the road to Wrestlemania officialy begins. There are strong rumors regarding Triple H participating in the Rumble, some expect him to return tonight to promote the show Sunday.

Also for tonights show WWE has signed a match between the World Heavyweight Champion- Edge and WWE Champion- The Miz. Rumors of an RKO reunion broke over the weekend so the match between champs may become a tag team match.

Another storyline heading into tonights show is the addition of a new member to CM Punk’s Nexus. I would expect the new superstar to be featured on tonights show as the heat between Punk and John Cena builds.

01/24/11 ROH on HDNet preview- The All Night Express vs The Worlds Greatest Tag Team

Tonight on HDNet Rhett Titus and Kenny King face Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin

News broke last week that HDNet has cancelled ROH programing from their channel. The final show for ROH airs on 04/04/11  featuring Davey Richards and The Birscos vs. Roderick Strong and The Kings of Wrestling in what was said to be the best match in the history of the show.

The count down to the final show starts tonight with a main event of Titus and King vs Haas and Benjamin. Other matches include:

- The Bravado Brothers vs. Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly
- Homicide vs. a local jobber
The show will also feature an interview with Homicide conducted by Jim Cornette

01/10/11 Raw preview- Will John Cena return to Raw?

Last week’s Raw featured a change in the leadership of Nexus and a new contender for the WWE Title

CM Punk lead an attack on fan favorite John Cena two weeks ago, putting him out of action for a week. The story of tonight’s Raw revolves around John Cena returning and getting revenge on Nexus and their new leader CM Punk. Another angle leading into tonight’s Raw is Randy Orton becoming the #1 contender for Miz’s WWE Title. On last month’s PPV The Miz escaped with his title after he put Randy Orton through a table. Tonight Orton will be looking to gain momentum heading into his title match and one wonders what tricks he has up his sleeve.
