02/21/11 Raw preview- Undertaker returns

Last week Raw saw the suprise return of The Rock, this week Raw will see the much hyped return of The Undertaker

For the last month WWE has promoted the return or debut of a mysterious wrestler with the 02.21.11 promos. Many have speculated on who the promos were for but it seems that it will be the return of The Undertaker(sorry Sting fans).

Tonights Raw will also feature the start of the WWE Title feud. Last night John Cena became the number one contender for Miz’s freshly defended title. Wrestlemania will also take shape tonight with other Mania match feuds being featured. It is rumored that Triple H will be taking on The Undertaker in another career vs. streak match and CM Punk is expected to take on Randy Orton.

‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin returns to WWE to host Tough Enough

WWE legend ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin will make a regular return to WWE television when he hosts this season of the series Tough Enough

The press release adds a few more specifics to the information already released on the new series, which is scheduled to begin filming later this month.

  • The “Tough Enough” contestants will “live, train, eat, and sleep” in a house in Simi Valley, California.
  • Each episode will feature one current WWE wrestler as a guest on the show. The wrestler will introduce the TE contestants to “a quality that they must possess to make it to the top of the sports entertainment world.”
  • This isn’t official, but the order of criteria that will be used to evaluate the contestants is “showmanship, creativity, athleticism, and desire.”
  • The new season of “Tough Enough” premieres on Monday, April 4 following the Raw-after-WrestleMania, then shifts to 8:00 p.m. EST leading into Raw starting April 11.

Impact opens with Eric Bischoff cutting a promo on Sting, Nash, Booker T and ‘They’. Bischoff informs the fans the Hulk Hogan and will not be on tonights show.

Edge, Dolph Ziggler, Rey Mysterio, Wade Barrett, Kane and Drew McIntyre will compete for the World Title at the Elimination Chamber PPV

Vickie Guerrero with Dolph Ziggler in tow announce Smackdown Elimination Chamber qualifying matches and then call out Kelly Kelly. Kelly is sick of Vickie being involved in her personal life and going through her stuff backstage. Ziggler gets in her face, so Kelly smacks him and Vickie. LayCool attack, but Edge makes the save.

Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel defeat Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella in a non-title match.

Drew McIntyre defeated Kofi Kingston when Alberto Del Rio distracted Kofi.

Rey Mysterio defeated Jack Swagger to get into the Elimination Chamber.

Edge is concerned backstage because if Kelly Kelly is pinned tonight, he loses his title. Kelly is mad at Edge not having faith in her, compares him to Drew McIntyre, and storms off.

Alberto Del Rio is in the ring with a piñata, Hornswoggle and Ricardo. Hornwsoggle accidentally hits Del Rio, so Del Rio kicks him, then attacks Kofi Kingston when he tries to save, with an assist to Ricardo.

Well, looks like Kofi vs. Del Rio at EC.

Wade Barrett defeats Big Show when Corre beat Show down and Wade is now in the EC. Ezekiel cuts a promo setting up him vs. Show.

Edge and Ziggler are the final two EC members.

Naturally, since one of them will hold the belt going in.

World Heavyweight Championship match
Edge and Kelly Kelly defeated Dolph Ziggler and Lay Cool. After the match, Vickie fires Kelly and states that next week is Edge vs. Ziggler with Vickie as guest referee.

02/03/11 Impact spoilers- ‘They’ arrive

WWE signed the major players in the ‘They’ storyline so TNA is forced to rework the angle

Immortal comes out to open the show. Eric Bischoff calls out Scott Steiner to talk business. Bischoff says Hulk Hogan won’t be here tonight thanks to Dixie Carter. Bischoff talks about Kevin Nash and Booker T and tells Steiner that Sting isn’t here either. Bischoff wants Steiner to join them. Steiner cuts a promo on Bischoff before Crimson and Kurt Angle come out. Angle says they are real, damn real and leaves with Steiner and Crimson.

Ink Inc. beat Gunner and Murphy.

Backstage segment with Angle, Steiner and Crimson. They go over their plan for tonight.

Jeremy Buck won an X Division qualifying match over Doulas Williams and Jay Lethal when Max Buck interfered.
